Turn-Based Press is a fine art printshop located in ArtCenter South Florida, Miami Beach, Florida.

Turn-Based Press promotes the culture of prints, artists’ books and works-on-paper, supports those artists whose focus it is to create works falling within those categories, educates both artists and the general public about that culture as well as printmaking and book arts techniques, and facilitates the creation of print-based artworks.

Between 2013 and December 2016, Turn-Based Press also had a gallery space in the Downtown ArtHouse in downtown Miami, FL, in which we exhibited the work of over 80 local artists. Of those, 80% were from the South Florida region, and 57% of the total number were women. Exhibiting artists have been of diverse ages and points in their careers, and the majority of artworks exhibited have been prints, works on paper, or artists’ books. The Press also hosted works on paper and print sales from which it took no commission from artist sales, offered public demonstrations of printmaking techniques and book binding, and also offered workshops for children and adults, and as teacher training opportunities.

After settling in to our new home in ArtCenter South Florida, we’ll update our website and social media pages with our new programs and offerings.
